Full Planning Permission was secured for a major high quality residential development on former educational lands following a successful community engagement meeting with local residents.
MCI Planning and Development secured planning permission for 64 unit development on lands that were formally home to Our Lady of Mercy High School in Strabane. MCI created and delivered a stakeholder engagement strategy that helped generate substantial levels of local support for the proposals.
The completed development has an estimated value of 8.5m and will deliver new housing and open space on lands in close proximity to the town centre. A new vehicle access was created and existing mature trees retained onsite. These elements, alongside the proposed open space will ensure that the development meets the aspirations of local residents for greater levels of high quality housing.
