Institute Football Club New Stadium
We are currently working with Institute Football Club at planning stage on proposals for a new stadium at Clooney Park West, Derry, following the successful demolition of the former Riverside Stadium. The project represents a major step forward in providing modern sporting infrastructure for the club and its supporters.
Our involvement has focused on early-stage planning support for the new stadium development, including site assessment, policy review, and the integration of supporting community facilities. A key consideration has been ensuring that the proposals respond appropriately to the site context at Clooney Park West, including access, surrounding land uses, and environmental sensitivities, while delivering a high-quality, fit-for-purpose facility.
The project remains ongoing, with the planning phase establishing a clear framework to guide design development and secure a deliverable, sustainable stadium that strengthens both the club’s long-term future and its wider community role.
